Q: Do I need a phone line to use high speed Internet from Twin Wireless?
A: A phone line is not necessary. We provide wireless connection through a wireless radio antenna on your site to use our Internet service
Q: Since my Internet connection is wireless, can I take my laptop and use your connection anywhere?
A: Your connection is wireless only to your home or business; it is not a mobile connection to the city
Q: There is no DSL or Cable in my area, am I still able to get broadband Internet service?
A: Since our service is wireless to your house/business there is no need for dsl or cable lines. Our vast communication towers offer coverage for most areas in the valley, call for details
Q: Is your wireless connection a wifi service?
A: No, our connection is not a wifi type service, so you must have established a private account before connecting to the internet.
Q: Where do you have to mount the antenna?
A: For most customers it will have to be mounted outside on the highest point of the roof or building.
Q: Can more then one computer/laptop be connected to your high-speed Internet service?
A: Yes with a purchase of a wireless broadband router, multiple computers can be used at the same time in your home or business.
Q: Is there an additional cost for multiple PCs?
A: No, we don’t charge based on the usage.
Q: How do I know if service is available in my area?
A: Presently, we have coverage from Harlingen to La Joya, and Edinburg to Reynosa (Mexico) refer to the map.
Q: Can my neighbor steal my wireless Internet signal?
A: No, the signal is secure from us to you. However, if you have a router in your home, make sure to turn on the wireless security for the router.
Q: Does TWIN provide networking and security set-up for my home or business?
A: Yes, our trained technicians will provide the best possible set-up for either commercial or residential.
